iPhone 5 Rumors: Aluminium Backing and New Antenna

According to rumors from MacRumors.com, a new design is in the work for iPhone 5 that is somewhat inspired by the iPod Touch. Another GadgetsDNA.com a Chinese resource has spread a news that the next gen iPhone 5 will have a new Aluminuim back and a redesigned antenna. We can assume that after facing lots of issues with white paint and scratches on rear glass surface, Apple is changing the rear part of iPhone5 to aluminum that was used for first generation iPhone. If iPhone 5 gets revert back to the Aluminum backing, Apple may save weight as well as it may help to stop damages from scratching.

According to rumors Antenna will be designed just behind Apple logo. Well, such design will not be a great deal for 3G reception which is a high priority for Apple. Antenna just behind Apple logo may create penetration for cellular and Wi-Fi signlas.
